Tyreek Hill is notorious for talking out his butt cheeks, so it’s difficult to take the Miami Dolphins receiver serious when it comes to anything non-football related.

And even then there’s a challenge because of the All-Pro receiver's crap talking nature, but Hill recently taped a podcast called Fully Tilted with Bob Menery and claims he plans to take up boxing, and mixed martial arts during his offseason training program.

Keep in mind his contract likely forbids all of this, but that hasn't stopped Hill from talking his talk before.

And he did just that by issuing a challenge to one of the world's most famous fighters.

“Just take it to the cage, bro," said Hill, who spent last week in Greece. "That's why I want to meet Dana White, I want to get in the cage. I want to get in the cage or I want to box.

“I don't know, I think my first fight needs to be like Jake Paul or something like that,” Hill said about Paul, whom he has a friendship with. “Yeah, bro. I don’t think [he’s tough]. I grew up boxing.”

Paul has taken the boxing world by storm, fighting former UFC fighters and influencers, and now faces pro boxers. As a result, he’s gained popularity in the fighting world and puts together mega cards for pay-per-view telecasts.

Some of those cards have featured pro athletes like Chad Ochocinco, Nate Robinson, Deron Williams, Frank Gore, Le'Veon Bell, who are/were former basketball and football stars attempting to transition to boxing.

Paul responded to Hill's challenge by saying "you would get mauled in the ring by me."

Of course Hill was entertaining during the podcast, as usual.

However, I wish he addressed his push to have a couple of years added to his Dolphins contract this offseason, which is a mechanism the Dolphins could use to create cap space before the March 13 deadline Miami has to get under the salary cap.

But all things will be addressed in due time, and adjusting Hill's contract is clearly atop Drew Rosenhaus' agenda since the guaranteed money ($19.75 million) concludes at the end of this season, and the hope is to keep Hill, who turns 30 on Friday, as the NFL's highest paid receiver.

Adding a year or two to Hill's contract, and giving him a substantial signing bonus, would allow the Dolphins to trim as much as $15 million off the cap number, which presently sits at $31.3 million.
