OUTLOOK: Williams is an extremely self-motivated, student of the game who possesses a great blend of length and strength, along with light feet, which projects to him remaining a blindside protector in the NFL. Known to be a self-proclaimed ‘Film Junkie’, former Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal described Williams to be a “football addict.” We saw glimpses as a true freshman, as he started every game at right tackle, while illustrating a full understanding of Lane Kiffin’s offense. He would eventually move to left tackle as a sophomore, serving as a key cog on the Crimson Tide National Championship team. His body of work is as impressive and consistent as any offensive line prospect in the 2019 draft class. He’s considered to be a blue chip amongst this year’s o-line group and worst case, you’re looking at a top notch guard if it doesn’t work out on the outside.
