OUTLOOK: Originally a defensive lineman, McGary made the switch over to the offense upon the arrival of head coach Chris Peterson. He has dealt with plenty of adversity, including three procedures to help stabilize his heart arrhythmia, a house fire that destroyed his family’s farm and his dad being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. McGary ended his career on a high note, as the winner of the 2018 Morris Trophy, awarded to the top offensive lineman (as voted by opposing team players) in the Pac-12. The kid consistently answered the bell for the program, as he was a four-year starter for the Huskies. He is never one to be short for words but his style of play and strength will have NFL teams discussing him early on in the draft.
