2019 Picks #201-205
From the 2019 NFL Draft Bible (click here to purchase)
#201 Chiefs - Rashad Fenton, CB, South Carolina
#202 Dolphins - Isaiah Prince, T, Ohio State
OUTLOOK: Highly recruited out of high school, Prince chose Ohio State over Alabama and his hometown Maryland, so the talent was always there, it just took some time for the light bulb to turn on. A three-year starter at right tackle, he will probably remain in that position when he transitions to the NFL. He’ll likely need to fill out his frame more before he’s ready to compete for a starting job. He thrives as a run blocker and will be a player that grows on a team with his infectious personality and hard working mentality.
#203 Falcons - Marcus Green, WR, Louisiana-Monroe
#204 Seahawks - Travis Homer, RB, Miami (Fla.)
OUTLOOK: While he runs a bit upright, Homer flashes lightning quick change of direction and acceleration, in addition to breakaway speed. He has been a key gunner on special teams, making numerous tackles on coverage units and does well in pass protection. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2017, totaling 1,203 all-purpose yards in the absence of then lead back Mark Walton. His ball skills are good enough but he’s not a plus pass catcher. Homer knows how to run behind his pads, he is skilled at taking a glancing blow and he has the balance to keep his feet moving and continue gaining yards after contact. Homer has plus body control, excellent burst through the hole and despite his smaller build he is effective as an interior runner. His range, athleticism, his experience on special teams and his willingness to play on the “We-fense” will likely get Homer drafted late on day three by a team in need of a versatile back to round out their roster.
#205 Bears - Duke Shelley, DB, Kansas State
