That’s a wrap for the 98th East-West Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas. It was one of the more plentiful rosters in terms of talent, in recent East-West Shrine Bowl history.

Several prospects were able to move the needle on their draft stock throughout the week. Some players viewed as priority free agents have played themselves into draftable status, while others have gone from Day Three status to potential top 100 overall selections.

Below is a look at five players who ascended up draft boards after their all-star week performance at the East-West Shrine Bowl:

WEST TEAM

WR Kazmeir Allen, UCLA [ Height: 5083 | Weight: 176 | Hand: 0858 | Arm: 2900 | Wingspan: 7118]A gadget player who reportedly runs in the 4.2-range, Allen is a candidate for the fastest man in this year’s draft. Listed as a wideout, he is more of an offensive weapon who can make plays in space. We have seen Allen line up out wide, inside, in the backfield as a running back and even as a return man. The bottom line, get the ball in his hands and watch Allen work. Any NFL team looking to add a luxury piece (think Kadarius Toney type) to their offense may want to roll the dice on this speed-burner.

LB Isaiah Moore, North Carolina State [Height: 6020 | Weight: 234 | Hand: 0900 | Arm: 3168 | Wingspan: 7638]Ask any scout in attendance who the star of the week was and most will tell you it was Moore, who stood above the competition the entire week. He continued to flash during the game, showcasing his ability to defend slot receivers and identify pre-snap coverages. His leadership and communication traits are top-notch! Look for Moore to be chosen in the middle rounds.

CB Eric Scott Jr., Southern Miss [Height: 6006 | Weight: 197 | Hand: 0948 | Arm: 3228 | Wingspan: 8028] The Golden Eagles helmet was easy to identify this week, as Scott Jr. shined with his one-on-one coverage skills. He has drawn praise from coaches and scouts alike for his press man coverage ability. He is a strong candidate to hear his name called on Day Three.

S Trey Dean [Height: 6025 | Weight: 211 | Hand: 0948 | Arm: 3228 | Wingspan: 7668] Arguably the most consistent performer from start to finish throughout the week, Dean is a moving chess piece on defense. He can lineup at any position in the secondary and even step in at linebacker if needed. His ball-hawk instincts, and ability to help out in the run game, in addition to being a competent cover man, makes him one of the top prospects in this year’s event. Dean was named East-West Shrine Bowl Defensive MVP for his efforts.

PK Jacob Moody, Michigan [Height: 6001 | Weight: 207 | Hand: 0938 | Arm: 3058 | Wingspan: 7248] We have seen many teams around the league play a game of musical chairs with their kicker over the last several years. The performance by Moody during the East-West Shrine Bowl game may very well get him drafted on Day Three of the draft. Moody went four-for-four on field goal attempts, including a pair of 51-yard field goals, one of which had the distance to be good from 60-plus yards. Yes, numerous NFL teams were sure to make a note and Moody was rewarded with East-West Shrine Bowl Offensive MVP honors for his performance.
