Background:

B.J. Foster earned All-America as both a Running Back and Defensive Back at Angleton High School. Foster was the No.12 player in the country and the No.1 safety in his recruiting class. As a freshman and sophomore, he played in 22 games, had 14 starts, and totaled 80 tackles, 6 pass breakups, 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions at Safety. In 2020, he underwent shoulder surgery to correct a lasting issue and fractured his hand after punching a car. As a starter in 2021, Foster was named as an All-Big 12 honorable mention after recording 46 tackles, 4 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions. In the spring semester, he also earned Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
