C.J. Stroud Makes NFL History, Still Hasn't Thrown an Interception
The Houston Texans lost a heartbreaker to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, but it wasn't for a lack of trying, especially on the part of rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Stroud led an impressive drive in the final minutes that ended with a go-ahead touchdown pass to tight end Dalton Schultz, but the Falcons had just enough time on the ensuing possession to get in range for the game-winning field goal at the buzzer.
A silver lining for Stroud? The rookie quarterback set a new NFL record, logging 186 pass attempts without throwing an interception, the most in league history to start a career.
The record was previously held by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, and since Stroud still hasn't thrown a pick, he'll look to continue his impressive streak when the Texans host the New Orleans Saints next week.
