Background:

In 2021, Godfrey received Phil Steele FCS All-American, CoSIDA Academic All-American, first-team all-MVFC long snapper, first-team MVFC All-Academic team honoree, MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner, and MVFC honor roll member. Godfrey helped Brady Schutt set the program record for career punting average while also assisting Mason Lorber on ten consecutive field goal makes and 13 overall this season, and aided a punt team that ranked 10th nationally in net punting. He recovered a muffed punt that set up a touchdown and a 7-0 lead in the Valley opener at Missouri State (9/25). Currently is studying kinesiology and sport management at USD.
