In any other draft class, North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye might have been the slam-dunk No. 1 overall pick.

But with USC's Caleb Williams at the head of this year's group, another quarterback-needy team might get lucky and land Maye without having to own the top selection.

After a promising 2022 campaign, Maye heads into 2023 with plenty of hype and expectation, and delivering on both could have him pushing Williams for consideration at the top of next year's draft.

Before that 2023 season gets rolling, let's take a look back at some of Maye's best plays from last year:
