In this story:

When the Minnesota Vikings spent their first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on USC wide receiver Jordan Addison, they had plays like this in mind.

Addison wasted little time making his presence felt in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks, making a toe-tapping catch on the sideline that had fans wondering how in the world he actually came down with it.

Turns out that despite an incredible effort, officials ruled that Addison didn't come down with the ball in-bounds, but it sure looked like a catch to many of the fans watching at home:

Addison appeared to have control of the ball while dragging both feet across the turf prior to going out of bounds, but the officials obviously didn't see it that way.
