Background:

Keylon Stokes was a three-star prospect coming out of Manvel High School. As a senior, Stokes had 80 receptions, 1524 yards, and 18 touchdowns. As a freshman at the University of Tulsa, Stokes totaled 6 catches, 143 yards, and maintained a kick return average of 20.3 yards. In 2018, he had team-highs with 41 receptions and 575 yards as a receiver, 104 yards on 15 attempts as a rusher, and 4 total touchdowns. In 2019, Stokes had his first collegiate 1000+ yard season, 6 touchdowns, and 5 50+ yard receptions. In 2020, he ranked fourth in the AAC in receiving yards, seventh in catches per game and seventh in punt return average, earning him Second Team All-AAC honors. After earning a degree in Organizational Studies, Stokes returned to the University of Tulsa as a graduate student. In 2021, Stokes played the first two games in the season and missed the rest due to a torn quad injury. He returned for his best season, eclipsing all of his previous season highs. Stokes finished his sixth season with 76 receptions, 1233 yards, 8 touchdowns, and a 102 yard per game average. He ranks third in all-purpose yards and ninth for receiving yards for the Golden Hurricanes.
