WATCH: Georgia WR Ladd McConkey Turns Broken Play Into Epic Touchdown
In a showdown between the two teams who just missed out on the College Football Playoff, it's been smooth sailing for the Georgia Bulldogs so far in Saturday's Orange Bowl matchup against undefeated Florida State.
Already up 21-3 in the first half, Georgia found the end zone yet again, this time thanks to some heads-up creativity from wide receiver Ladd McConkey.
After getting the ball from quarterback Carson Beck behind the line of scrimmage, McConkey was looking downfield for a receiver to throw to on a trick play. With nobody available, McConkey took off running instead, making multiple FSU defenders miss on his way to this incredible touchdown run:
McConkey is one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class, and with a long list of talented players at the position, his playmaking ways could end up being a huge bargain for any team on draft weekend.
