The competition for the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is starting to heat up, but there's still a clear leader in the clubhouse after 12 weeks of regular-season action.

A 1-10 start cost Frank Reich his position as head coach of the Carolina Panthers, but his old team won't get to reap the most valuable benefit of being the worst team in the league, as they've already traded their first-round pick in next year's draft to the Chicago Bears.

Speaking of the Bears, they're currently on track to land two top-five selections in 2024, thanks to the Panthers' ineptitude, as well as their own.
