QB Sam Howell, North Carolina: 6002 | 221 | 918 | 3118 | 7558

Mother nature made day two difficult all around for the players, but especially the quarterbacks. In the second group, Sam Howell was really able to settle in and start making big-time throws as many have expected. Howell showed exceptional ball placement during the one on one periods, especially down the sideline on multiple deep balls to his right. He’s starting to feel the chemistry grow with his receivers after meeting them for the very first time this week.

QB Malik Willis, Liberty: 6003 | 220 | 948 | 3168 | 7738

Highlighting Malik Willis here for the second day in a row down here. His game has stood out among the quarterbacks as the ball explodes out of his hand at times. He shows he can really stick passes on his receivers and hit them in stride. Like many other guys today Willis honed in the nerves and was able to become more consistent.

WR Velus Jones Jr., Tennessee: 5114 | 203 | 968 | 3100 | 7428

One receiver that seemed to turn heads during the second practice was Tennessee’s Velus Jones Jr. His speed stood out among the group hauling in multiple long passes and being one of the hardest guys to cover all day long. Clocked in at the second-fastest speed of the day at 21.75 mph.

OT Max Mitchell, Louisiana-Lafayette: 6056 | 299 | 958 | 3358 | 8068

Along the offensive line, Max Mitchell looked solid among the group. Strong at the point of attack, edge rushers had a difficult time working power moves with Mitchell. At six-foot-five 299-pounds, Mitchell measured in with 33 ⅝ inch arms projecting to the NFL with prototypical offensive tackle size.

OG Ed Ingram, LSU: 6031 | 317 | 1000 | 3338 | 8378

On the interior of the line, LSU guard Ed Ingram looked powerful throughout the day. At 317-pounds, Ingram has plenty of mass to hold up against NFL sized interior rushers and he showed it throughout day two. His punch was powerful and looked to drive defenders off the ball when he could. Projectable gap scheme player with a good showing so far in Mobile.
