NFL Free Agent HUB Profile: Andre Dowdell, Wide Receiver
ANDRE DOWDELL
Edinboro | WR | #6 | 5071 | 180 | 0868 | 2900 | 6968 | Agent: Gabe Martinez
Evaluation:
A shorter, compact wideout, Dowdell possesses excellent footwork, above average change of direction and clearly takes pride in his route running. The New York native showed that he understands how to separate from coverage and demonstrated the ability to make catches in traffic. Dowdell also owns the ability to make defenders miss in the open field and will often look to pick up additional yards after the catch. He seemed to thrive during the one-on-one portion of the HUB Football CAMP on 11/13/22 and caught everything within his catch radius throughout the day. While height will be a concern for some teams, Dowdell outplays his size with heart, grit and desire. He projects as a slot wide receiver, or running back who could also contribute on special teams as a return man.
