ONE-LINER

A quick, agile tight end who brings versatility to his overall game with the ability to catch or block and line up in various spots on offense; jack of all trades who could be utilized in sub-packages and special teams—Power 5 pedigree as a transfer from Arizona State.

EVALUATION

Wore No.5 at HUB Football CAMP on 2/20/22. Possesses dual catch/block skill-set; takes pride in honing his craft. Strengths include quick feet, dependable hands and astute awareness, along with the ability to adjust to balls. Demonstrated excellent concentration and can also step in and long snap. Not afraid to give up his body in the middle of the field to make contested catches. While an above-average athlete, lack of prototype height for the tight end position could be one reason why he has had limited opportunities. He also needs to add some additional bulk and could sharpen up some of his routes, especially in/out of his breaks to help improve his overall game. Projects as a seam route weapon, who could split out wide, help out inline or even line up as H-back; adds another threat in the red zone because of his size and athleticism.

QUOTABLE

“He’s an absolutely tremendous blocker. I don’t know if I’ve been around one as good as Ceejhay and that includes some great tight ends at ASU, Oregon and Washington State. He just brings more force and has great footwork in his blocking abilities.” – NAU Tight End Coach Robin Pflugrad on Ceejhay French-Love
