ONE LINER

A true diamond in the rough who made a switch from running back to cornerback late in his career and flashed high level skill-set/athleticism; exciting developmental cornerback prospect.

EVALUATION

Wore No.6 at HUB Football CAMP on 10/20/22. Possesses quick, fluid hips, along with smooth backpedal and stop on a dime change of direction skill-set. An aggressive corner who is smart when taking chances jumping the route. He needs to be careful not to bite on the double-fake but does own exceptional recovery speed. Will get caught on occasion turning his head around too late on the deep ball, one area that he has room for improvement. Overall, was one of the better coverage corners who has worked out at the HUB Football CAMP during the past year. Was a standout in one-on-one drills; was rarely beat—showed short-term memory and proved to be a top-notch athlete. Not afraid to stick his nose in the dirt and help out in the run game, as evidenced by his team-leading 75 tackles as a senior. Additional value in his ability to line up inside but more than capable defending the boundary and could fit in either a man or zone scheme; owns limited experience as a return man. This is an NFL level prospect who could compete for a backend roster/practice squad spot.
