One-Liner:

A big play waiting to happen, Victor Bolden Jr. is a return man extraordinaire who owns elusiveness in the open field, superb vision and is able to create separation in from the slot.

Evaluation:

Wore #87 at HUB Football ‘Futures CAMP’ on 12/15/21. A quick, fast wideout with an explosive first step, Bolden Jr. was one of the top performers in attendance at the winter workout. The California native was especially impressive during wide receiver drills while working with HUB coach Az-Zahir Hakim; his change of direction skills were noteworthy. Bolden Jr. is a physical runner who can pick up additional yards after catch—he appeared to have improved footwork and route running since last seen. He also demonstrated the ability to adjust to errant throws and showed excellent sideline awareness. Other positive observations were his natural instincts and ball tracking ability, along with strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air. While Bolden Jr. does have some size limitations, he departed the HUB receiving praise from players, coaches and scouts on-site. This is a polished player who should be competing for a roster spot at the NFL level, especially since he possesses return experience on both kick and punt units.

Background:

An undrafted free agent in 2017 with four years of NFL experience with Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers. Currently living in in Southern California with his son. Quotable:

"I can make plays in space. I can take the top off of a coverage as a deep threat, and I can also do the underneath stuff. I take pride in being versatile, and that's what I bring to the team." – Victor Bolden Jr.

College:

A three-year team captain at Oregon State University (2013-2016) making 36 career starts, while leading the team in receptions for three consecutive seasons.
