The NFL recently announced their annual list of compensatory draft selections, but Cincinnati Bengals fans might have been disappointed to see they didn't get a third-round pick to offset the loss of safety Jessie Bates in free agency last offseason.

But after the eagle-eyed Nick Korte at Over The Cap pointed out the mistake, the league has since rectified the situation, correcting the picks and giving the Bengals the No. 97 selection at the end of the third round.

This won't be great news for every other team in the league, as every pick after No. 97 will now be shifted down one spot thanks to the correction, but at least it actually got fixed.
