Turner Corcoran
Nebraska Cornhuskers

One-Liner:

An offensive lineman with fantastic size with great athleticism and movement skills.

Evaluation:

A versatile offensive lineman blessed with an excellent frame and top-notch agility for his size, Corcoran has yet to put it all together. However, he has earned the attention of the NFL scouting community with his flashes of brilliance. The Kansas native owns tremendous strength, to go along with sound footwork and the flexibility to play all five positions if needed; he started nine games at left tackle and two at right tackle a season ago. Corcoran sat out spring ball in an effort to get healthy and has been banged up each of the past two years. There has been some talk amongst the coaching staff about a possible move to center in 2022, which would be an intriguing fit due to his gargantuan size but they believe he possesses the athleticism to do so. His maturity and team-first mentality have drawn praise from the Cornhuskers coaches. Next, Corcoran will need to prove that he can perform at a level of consistency needed to succeed in the pros.

Grade:

3rd Round

Quotes:

“Turner’s a guy I think is probably capable of playing all five positions if we needed him to. He did a great job at left tackle, looked great at right tackle when we moved him over when Teddy played. Teddy and Turner are both going to miss spring with injuries. They’re around and learning and able to do some things, but again, that’s going to help some other guys get reps and, Turner in particular, probably going to have to figure out where he fits the best.” -- Nebraska head coach Scott Frost on Turner Corcoran

Background:

Turner is a tough offensive lineman and even during the fall where he was injured, he was able to come back a start eleven games for Nebraska. At left tackle, Corcoran helped Nebraska get three hundred rushing and passing yards in the same game as well as earn four hundred and twenty-seven rushing yards against Northwestern. He has the ability to help out on the offensive line and will be able to help any team earn those stats too.
