Background:

Tyler Murray played offense and defense at Baldwin High School before leaving Florida to play for the Troy Trojans in 2017. As the season went on, Murray carved out a larger role with the team and finished the year with 15 total tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. In 2018, he greatly increased production resulting in 49 total tackles, 5 pass deflections, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 3 interceptions and being named to the All-Sun Belt Third Team.
