Matt Hembrough is the returning long snapper for Oklahoma State. OSU’s All-America starting long snapper for both punts and placements each of the past three seasons. He could have a future as a long snapper in the NFL, as he has been perfect on more than 375 career snaps, including more than 185 snaps each on both punts and place kicks. Hembrough was honored as a second-team All-America selection by the AFCA in the first year they included the position as part of the team. Included on the watch list for the Patrick Mannelly Award, given annually to the nation’s best college long snapper, and earned first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors for the third consecutive season. In 2021, he played a significant role at Oklahoma State, leading the Big 12 and ranking No. 2 in the FBS by allowing only 0.8 yards per punt return.
