Boos In Philadelphia Win: ‘Eagles Fans Are the Best!’

Booing from Eagles fans in the midst of a home victory. … And why? Because they are demanding? Impatient? Rude? Unreasonable?
In this story:

The Philadelphia Eagles recorded a 34-28 victory in Week 1 over the Minnesota Vikings, reason enough to celebrate … to most people who consider themselves to be “reasonable.”

But as the Eagles got to work at The Linc on “Monday Night Football” - in front of their home fans for the time in a real game since Philadelphia made its terrific 2022 run to the Super Bowl - Eagles fans were …

Booing. And why? Because they are demanding? Impatient? Rude? Unreasonable?

Seriously, it took less than a part of the quarter for Eagles fans - some Eagles fans, we should say - to turn on their team by booing the club’s imperfect early offensive display.

Social media took notice, of course … in many cases calling out Eagles faithful for their lusty foolishness.

The criticism came from even the most football-smart watchers, including a guy who starred in the NFL.

“Philly Fans gotta be the most demanding fans in the entire NFL. It’s Week 2 and they are acting like the Eagles weren’t in the Super Bowl last year," former NFL standout offensive lineman Taylor Lewan chided.

Wrote another observer: "It took less than a quarter into the first home game after the Super Bowl for the Eagles to get booed. I love Philly so much. The best!”

The Eagles managed just three points in the opening quarter, but we’re up 3-0 when the boos came raining down.

And as always, we note: it’s your (very expensive) ticket. So boo if you wish. But … does doing so help your team win?
