Eagles vs. 49ers Death Taunts Exchanged Between Jalen Carter & Jon Feliciano
A missed block in the Super Bowl. A drunken statement. And now a vicious war of words that includes threats of murder.
That's how quickly a football miscue has been a nasty battle involving San Francisco 49ers guard Jonathan Feliciano and Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter, a situation triggered when Feliciano blamed teammate Spencer Burford in Sunday's Super Bowl, a 49ers' OT loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Feliciano later took to social media to apologize, writing, “Im sorry bro. I woke up hungover and being a b****. In trying to have ones back I hurt u,” Feliciano tweeted. “It’s f***** up and I apologize. You got nothing but greatness ahead of you. I’m sorry bro.”
That was messy enough ... but then Eagles rookie defensive lineman Carter chimed in, responded on his Instagram story that Feliciano is the "same dude who spoke on my dead teammate and the reason I was emotional during out game smh.''
That is a reference to Carter's involvement in a street race in which his Georgia teammate Devin Willock, as well as team staffer Chandler LeCroy, were killed.
That should've been enough, but Feliciano fired back, writing, “Dude told me he was gonna murder me and my kids would never see me again 3x because I was laughing at him after getting a flag … I said I believe you - you got a body. Then he continued for weeks posting my fam n reachin out to my friends.''
