'I'll Take Philly!': Do Philadelphia Eagles Still Have Path to NFC Championship Game?
With the postseason rapidly approaching and the Philadelphia Eagles in the midst of a three-game losing streak, Fox Sports personality Colin Cowherd decided to be the voice of reason when talking about their chances to get to the NFC Championship game.
"Think about the playoffs, Detroit at Philly, I'll take Philly," Cowherd said via The Herd. "Rams at Philly, I'll take Philly. Tampa at Philly, I'll take Philly. Minnesota at Philly, I'll take Philly. Dallas, schedule's tougher, ends up having to go to Philly, coin flip, I'd probably take Philly. The problem with the Eagles, they're living on the margins."

The Eagles were handled at home by the San Francisco 49ers in a 42-19 blowout, then went on the road and put up an abysmal performance against the Dallas Cowboys losing 30-13. The most recent let down was a 20-17 loss to Drew Lock and the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.
Despite all of that, Philadelphia still holds the tiebreaker over Dallas for the NFC East with just three games remaining. The Eagles will be playing the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants twice to end the season, and if they win all three games, they win the division.

It could be the first time since 2004 that there has been a back-to-back division winner in the NFC East.
Most likely, the Eagles would land in the two-seed in this scenario, missing out on a first-round bye and home-field advantage, but also possibly avoiding the Cowboys and 49ers until the NFC Championship game.
"I feel okay about Philadelphia getting to the NFC Championship," Cowherd said.
First up for the Eagles will be a Christmas Day matchup at home against the Giants at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday.
