Eagles BREAKING: All-Time Great Jason Kelce Retires Following Philadelphia's Embarrassing Playoff Loss
In this story:

A new era has begun in Philadelphia, and that's before any decision about the coaching staff has been made.

Six-time All-Pro Jason Kelce told teammates after Monday night's 32-9 playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that he will be retiring. Kelce was seen upset and in tears late in the game as he came off the field.

Adam Schefter was first on the news.

Kelce, drafted in the sixth round by the Eagles in 2011, played in 193 games - the most ever by an offensive player for the franchise. His six All-Pros make him the fifth center ever with that mark joining Jim Otto, Bulldog Turner, Dermotti Dawson, and Jim Ringo.

The other four players are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Philadelphia's favorite center was a part of the team's championship run in 2017. During the championship parade, Kelce made himself beloved in the city by dressing up in a Mummer's costume and giving an impromptu speech about underdogs.

Now, the Eagles will be heading into a new era of their franchise without one of the most charismatic and dominant faces in team history.
