Chiefs and Eagles Vet LeSean McCoy Explains $100K Bet on Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl
We will be frank about the work that former Philadelphia Eagles and Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy does on TV: It's ... weird. "Shady'' is trying so hard to gain traction with "hot takes'' that he ends up spewing lots of "controversial'' nonsense.
But when he gets a chance to put hid money where his mouth is? We'll listen ...
McCoy is so confident that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will win the Super Bowl next Sunday in Las Vegas over the 49ers that he's claiming he's put down a bet of $100,000 on that outcome.
"You never bet against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes," McCoy said on "Up & Adams.'' "I put 100 grand on it."
McCoy also told Adams that he has successfully nailed the last three Super Bowl winners. ... and again, we are working on the assumption that that claim - as well as his news about his big-money bet - is true.
McCoy does know his way around the Super Bowl and he knows his way around Reid, having played for "Big Red'' both in Philadelphia and Kansas City. Oh, and he was a member of the 2019 Chiefs team when they won their first Super Bowl of the Mahomes era, that game also against the 49ers.

If McCoy is right? He will earn a nice profit, given that his former team is actually an underdog at the moment. And he might win some credibility as well.
