WATCH: Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown Snags Crazy One-Handed TD vs. Washington Commanders

Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown continues to make highlight plays.
In this story:

Even when the Philadelphia Eagles look like a shell of themselves, A.J. Brown continues to be the hero the offense needs.

However, he took this hero role to new heights in the first half of Sunday's meeting with the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field. Down 14-3 as halftime was approaching, the Eagles needed something more on the scoreboard in order to flip momentum headed into the locker room, especially after losing a goal-line fumble earlier in the half.

Brown provided this and then some, as he made an incredible one-handed, 16-yard touchdown grab at the left pylon to cut the deficit to 14-10.

Take a look at the score:

Brow finished the first half with six catches for 88 yards and the touchdown. He was the only consistent weapon for the offense in the first two quarters.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni had some incredible praise for Brown earlier in the week.

"It gives me goosebumps to think about it as I'm talking about it right now,” Sirianni said. “It's the things he's doing that are unsee where other guys are getting the shine. Now he's getting his opportunities as well, but that's what impressed me.

“... So that speaks to why he has the ‘C’ on his chest and why he's a captain of this team. He just keeps getting better every time he steps on the field."

Brown and the Eagles will look to pick up the pace a bit as they trail Washington 17-10 as the third quarter gets underway.
