Eagles CB Darius Slay Injured, Carted Off vs. Buccaneers
In this story:
The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a 32-9 season-ending loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night at Raymond James Stadium.
To add insult to injury at the end of what was a forgettable season, Eagles veteran cornerback Darius Slay had to be carted off late in the fourth quarter.
While making a tackle, Slay got his legs caught under him and was bent backward a bit. Once he got free from the pile, he meditatively grabbed for his lower back and remained on the field in some visible pain. He was eventually carted off back to the locker room after attempting to walk off under his own power.
This marked Slay's first contest back after a four-game absence following knee surgery.
