The Philadelphia Eagles have already made some big changes to the coaching staff this offseason, but are now making some notable moves to the roster.
Per reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are cutting veteran cornerback Avonte Maddox after six years with the team. However, this doesn't appear to be goodbye just yet.
"More roster moves: The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing CB Avonte Maddox after six seasons, per sources. He had a $9.6 million salary cap hit for 2024. The two sides will keep talking and are open to a reunion," Schefter tweeted.
This is a developing story.
