Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts added to his eventful offseason by participating in the announcement of the U.S. team for the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

During his productive offseason, Hurts ventured into the world of acting, making his debut in a commercial titled 'Love Letter To Harlem' by singer-songwriter Teyana Taylor—the commercial aimed to promote Taylor's signature 'Jordan 1' Sneakers.

Hurts once again showcased his talent in front of the cameras, joining a group of notable entertainment and sports celebrities to announce the selected national team members. Hurts found himself in a lineup that included Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, John Cena, Shaquille O'Neal, and Mia Hamm, with the video being introduced by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

From a record store, Hurts enthusiastically announced the inclusion of midfielder Ashley Sanchez. His portion of the video can be found here.

“I just wanted to congratulate you on making the U.S. World Cup roster,” Hurts said. “I know you worked really hard to get there, so go show out and good luck.”

The Women's National Team coach, Vlatko Andonovski, has finalized the selection of the 23 players who will proudly represent the United States in the upcoming competition held in Australia and New Zealand next month.

To commence the tournament, the United States women's team is scheduled to compete in three Group E matches held in New Zealand. Their first match is against Vietnam on Friday, July 21, followed by a contest against the Netherlands on Wednesday, July 26, and concluding with a game against Portugal on Tuesday, August 1.

Similar to Hurts' lofty championship expectations for the forthcoming season, Team USA has strong aspirations to secure the title in the upcoming tournament.
