When the Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs after a 32-9 road loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it marked the end of many things.

But one thing that will not be ending is the career of offensive tackle Lane Johnson, who made it clear that he's not quite finished.

"I plan on finishing my career strong," Johnson said. "I think I have a few good years left and I'm going to take it to the limit."

With the loss, Johnson officially completed his 11th NFL season, all coming with the Eagles. He has been in Philadelphia since it drafted him out of the University of Oklahoma with the No. 4 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

He has been one of the best tackles in football across most of his 11-year career, making five Pro Bowls, two First Team All-Pro's and two Second Team All-Pro's. He has started in all of the 143 games that he has played in for the Eagles, and has even caught a touchdown for the team back in 2021. At 33-years-old, it's unclear how long Johnson plans to play for, but for now he'll watch Philadelphia's offseason unfold.

"I'm just sitting and watching," Johnson said. "I really don't know what it's going to happen. It's very frustrating. You see what this team was and you see how the team ended and the slide that we had....It's a wild business we're in. Nobody's safe. We'll see what happens."

The Eagles will have a lot of big decisions to make this offseason after the team collapsed towards the end of the season. It will be a long offseason to work on what went wrong that led to the disappointing end.
