Philadelphia Eagles Player Hints at Trade Interest in Kansas City Chiefs CB L'Jarius Sneed

The Philadelphia Eagles will need to improve their secondary this offseason if they want to make it back to the Super Bowl. The unit proved to be one of the main reasons why the Eagles suffered through a 1-5 stretch to end the season before a blowout loss in the Wild Card.

So if you're general manager Howie Roseman, what better way to get back to the big game than by adding championship-level talent to the back end instead of a run-of-the-mill signing or trade? One Eagles player already seems to have his sights set on one potential pickup.

The Eagles have been involved in offseason rumors surrounding Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, who was just reportedly granted permission by the team to seek a trade on Wednesday. His former teammate at Louisiana Tech and current Philadelphia defensive lineman Milton Williams appeared to hint at some legit interest in Sneed with a simple tweet.

Eagles Could Break Long Streak in First Round of Draft

All it takes these days is a simple eyeballs emoji to set the hype ablaze, which is what Williams included his tweet in response to a report that the Eagles have been "actively recruiting" Sneed to come to Philly. Other Eagles to play with Williams and Sneed at LA Tech include Boston Scott and Griffin Herbert.

Take a look at Williams' tweet:

Sneed, 27, was a fourth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2020. Now a two-time Super Bowl champ, he's played in 57 career games across four seasons while tallying 303 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 40 passes defended and 10 interceptions.
