Do Eagles Need Trade for WR Weapon from Panthers?

Jalen Hurts has a pass-catching crew starring A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, with tight end Dallas Goedert also a standout. Does the Eagles QB need more?
In this story:

The Philadelphia Eagles are prepared to once again unleash one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. So why is there speculation that quarterback Jalen Hurts and company need to acquire another receiving weapon?

The Eagles have been suggested as a potential landing spot for receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., an idea that we don't see why Philadelphia would bother with ... and an idea that we don't understand why the Carolina Panthers would do.

Let's start in Philly, with Hurts having developed into a star who finishing second in the MVP voting last season. GM Howie Roseman has quite specifically worked to build a Hurts-friendly huddle, with a Miles Sanders replacement in D’Andre Swift and a pass-catching crew starring A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, with tight end Dallas Goedert also a standout.

Does Hurts need another target? Entering the offseason, that answer might've been "yes'' ... and that depth piece was added with the signing of Olamide Zaccheus in free agency. (Oh, and deep threat Quez Watkins is still here as well.)

So why the push to talk about Terrance Marshall? It doesn't seem like something that needs to be on the Philly radar. And in Carolina? The LSU product is starting to develop as he is entering his fourth season in the NFL. But aren't the Panthers trying to build a crew of weapons for rookie QB Bryce Young just as Philly has done for Hurts? Carolina signed Adam Thielen and DJ Chark at receiver and they drafted another receiver, Jonathan Mingo, in the second round. That might mean Marshall is the third or fourth guy in that rotation ... but he'd be the fourth or fifth guy in the Eagles' rotation.

"The Eagles roster is loaded'' talk doesn't preclude Roseman from chasing more talent. But this idea reads like a spinning-of-wheels concept ... for both suggested teams.
