The Philadelphia Eagles are fifth in points per game this season but still, offensive coordinator Brian Johnson has come under a lot of criticism, and head coach Nick Sirianni isn't having it.

"He's a great communicator, him and Jalen have a great relationship," Sirianni said. "Jalen's played really good football because Jalen is a really good football player and he's continued to develop but also cause Brian Johnson's helped him. And now it's just in a different stage, a different role...I just think that the criticism on Brian Johnson, I think that's silly. I think it's a very silly take on him if there is any criticism on him because I think he's doing a phenomenal job, I think our offense is doing a good job."

Many Eagles fans have criticized Johnson's play calling, specifically his situational play calling such as in the red zone or on third down.
