Eagles Sign Pro Bowl LB Devin White in Free Agency: Details
The Philadelphia Eagles have already experienced some major changes on defense this offseason. Add one more to the list.
Per reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are signing Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White to a one-year, $7.5 million max deal.
"Source: Former Bucs LB Devin White is signing a 1-year, 7.5M max deal with the Eagles," Rapoport tweeted.
White, 26, has played all five of his NFL seasons in Tampa Bay after the Bucs selected him No. 5 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. A one-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, he's started 75 of 76 career games.
In his career, White has posted 566 total tackles, 23 sacks, six forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries, three interceptions, 21 passes defended, and two defensive touchdowns, both of which came during his rookie season.
