With two games remaining in the regular season, the Philadelphia Eagles' skill position players are on the verge of doing something that has never been done in franchise history before.

A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith both eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for the second-straight year while D'Andre Swift is just 12 rushing yards away from reaching 1,000. Meanwhile, star quarterback Jalen Hurts is 364 passing yards away from hitting 4,000 for the first time in his career.

If Swift and Hurts are able to reach their benchmarks over the next two games, it will be the first time in Eagles history that they have had a 4,000-yard passer, two 1,000-yard receivers and a 1,000-yard rusher in the same season.

The last time that Philadelphia had a 4,000-yard passer was in 2019 when Carson Wentz did it. Wentz famously topped 4,000 yards that year without having a single wide receiver with over 500 receiving yards on the roster.

In order for Hurts to hit 4,000 this season, he will need to average 182 passing yards across the final two games. He is currently averaging 242.4 passing yards per game this year and has only had three games under 182 passing yards. This season, Arizona Cardinals are giving up 216.0 passing yards per game and the New York Giants are giving up 229.7 passing yards per game, a good sign for Hurts' chance at 4,000.

The first chance for Hurts and Swift to hit their marks will be on New Year's Eve at home against the Cardinals at 1 p.m.
