The Philadelphia Eagles have made the biggest trade of their offseason.

Per multiple reports, the Eagles are trading draft compensation to the Detroit Lions in return for standout running back D'Andre Swift and the No. 249 pick, which brings yet another former Georgia Bulldog to Philly.

The Eagles and Lions will be swapping seventh-round picks for Day 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Here are the trade terms:

Eagles receive:

- RB D'Andre Swift

- No. 249 pick

Lions receive:

- 2025 fourth-round pick

- No. 219 pick

The Lions drafted Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the No. 12 overall pick and seemed primed to potentially make a change to their backfield.

Philly had been involved in rumors surrounding Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry headed into the draft, but now get a different star ball-carrier instead.

The Eagles are all too familiar with what Swift can do, as he rushed 15 times for a career-high 144 yards and a touchdown against Philly in Week 1 last season. The Eagles won that game 38-35 to jump-start an NFC Championship-winning season, but Swift had made a statement against a team that turned out to be one of the league's best.

Injuries hurt him throughout the 2022 season though, as he finished the campaign with 99 carries for 542 yards and five touchdowns while adding 48 catches for 389 yards and three more scores.

Alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts in the backfield, Swift is now projected to be the RB1 in a running back room that already features Rashaad Penny, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.
