Eagles vs. Browns Preseason: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Philadelphia Eagles continue the exhibition season on Thursday against the Cleveland Browns at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles are coming off a 20-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the first preseason game last Saturday, while the Browns lost to the Washington Commanders 17-15 last Friday. The Browns have the benefit of playing an extra exhibition game since they played in the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.
Against Baltimore last Saturday, the Eagles came up short after a sloppy second half that saw the offense go scoreless, the Eagles came up short. Baltimore's streak now moves to 24 straight preseason wins.
The Eagles, who rested starters, got a strong showing from rookie quarterback Tanner McKee, who went 10 of 20 passing for 148 yards while leading a pair of first-half scoring drives. His first-half play helped Philly take a 13-10 headed into the locker room.
Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson came within a yard of a perfect start to his preseason, and Jacoby Brissett had a TD run in his return to Cleveland in an exhibition delayed more than an hour at the start by a storm.
Watson went 3-for-3 for 12 yards and had 20 yards rushing. He was much better than his preseason debut a year ago when he completed just one pass against the Jags just days before being suspended by the NFL.
The Eagles and Browns will be familiar with one another by Thursday, after practicing this week together.
