The Philadelphia Eagles headed into halftime of Monday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 13-3 lead thanks to Jalen Hurts and receiver Olamide Zaccheaus.

Faced with a 3rd and 10, it seemed like Hurts would either take a sack or have to throw it away after holding onto the ball for a while in the pocket. A first-down conversion seemed unlikely, so forget about a touchdown.

But Zaccheaus was in the right place, and Hurts made the perfect throw right over the Tampa Bay secondary for a 34-yard touchdown.

Take a look:

Zaccheaus signed with the Eagles this offseason. He went to high school in Philadelphia.

"It's a crazy, full-circle moment that I'm embracing," Zaccheaus said during the offseason. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to be here and to compete at a very high level. I think I'm doing pretty well. Obviously, I have things to clean up and work on and just, I think I talked about it before, the nuances of the offense and stuff like that," he said, "but every day I'm just trying to get better and I think I'm doing pretty good."

Zaccheaus grew up in Plainfield, N.J. only about two hours northeast of Philly. He then attended the University of Virginia before heading south to play for the Atlanta Falcons.

His impressive NFL journey now sees him arrive to Philly, where he has now made a case to be in that WR3 role behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The past two seasons showed that Zaccheaus is certainly capable of claiming that spot on the depth chart.

Last season, Zaccheaus posted career-high marks in catches (40) and receiving yards (533) while tying his career-best with three receiving touchdowns. He's also showed impressive durability, playing in all 24 possible regular-season games over the past two years.
