Eagles WATCH: QB Jalen Hurts is Terrible (at Golf)

We finally found something Jalen Hurts cannot do. The Philadelphia Eagles QB is showing off his golf swing, and it is ... quite something.

Athletically, and maybe even beyond that, it seems like there isn't much Jalen Hurts cannot do. The Philadelphia Eagles QB can throw and run and lead and ...

He cannot play golf.

This week at camp, the NFL MVP candidate Hurts participated in a bit of a challenge with some of his Eagles teammates. The challenge was hitting a golf ball ... and Jalen Hurts was not up to the challenge.

As you can see here, his swing is terrible ... though he apparently did have enough muscle to drive the ball down the fairway ... er, football field. So yeah, he's a weight room guy.

But given his poor technique, there is something else going on here. ... and this is the positive thing for the Eagles as, under Hurts' leadership, they map out a 2023 plan to return to the Super Bowl and this time, to win it. ...

And that "something else'' is that maybe some other football players are good at golf because they find time in their day to practice that game ... while Hurts - who literally seemed to barely know how to hold the club - is busy trying to practice at the game that actually matters.

It is a decent bet that someday, if he cares to be, Jalen Hurts will develop into a competent golfer. But it is an even better bet that right about now, he's thinking about and working toward an athletic feat of much greater importance.
