Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith is making some big plays in Sunday's battle with the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

As the Eagles trailed 17-14 in the third quarter, Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts sailed a picture-perfect pass to the left pylon. Smith had slight space between him and his defender, but that's all he needed to reel in an impressive 29-yard touchdown to give the Eagles a 21-17 lead.

Take a look:

Smith has two grabs for 48 yards and the touchdown as Sunday's game heads to the fourth quarter.

The crowd erupted after Smith's score. The fans clearly listened to coach Nick Sirianni earlier in the week.

"We know how much energy this stadium is going to have on Sunday," Sirianni said. "And every bit counts ... That's why I find myself, after every away game, that's essentially a home game, I try to thank the fans because they've been awesome."

Smith finished last season with seven receiving touchdowns and now has four in 2023. Maybe he tops that total by regular season's end.

"It's elite! It's like I've been telling him since he was a rookie, he's way ahead of his class when it comes to route-running ability," Darius Slay said of Smith during the offseason. "I told him the other day, 'you're a guy that I've never seen before that can adjust like that in the middle of press man, hard press, catching.'"

The Eagles will look to keep things rolling against the Cowboys for the rest of Sunday's game.
