San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles Week 13: How to Watch, Betting Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles host the San Francisco 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday in a matchup to help determine NFC supremacy.

The Eagles stay home on Sunday as the 49ers come to town. Widely recognized as the best two teams in the NFC, the winner on Sunday will earn bragging rights until they're beaten in the postseason.

San Francisco has recovered from a three-game skid by winning three in a row over the Jags, Bucs and Seahawks. The 49ers seem to be back on track and ready for a matchup against the toast of the NFC in Philly.

The Eagles hope to extend their five-game winning streak after the unfathomable 20-14 loss to the Jets at the Meadowlands on Oct. 15.

Philadelphia finds itself in the unusual position of a home underdog, as the 49ers arrive in town as 2.5-point favorites. CBS Sports reported the Eagles are the first team since at least 1970 that holds a 10-1 record or better, has a healthy, starting QB and is a betting home underdog. 

This could be because the stout San Francisco passing game is facing a Philadelphia pass defense that ranks No. 29 in the league. Quarterback Brock Purdy has thrown for 2,871 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, and the stingy 49ers defense has allowed an average of just 10 points per game in its last three contests.

The Eagles are winning, but not impressively. Philadelphia hasn't won by more than seven points in any of its last four games.
