The First Eagles Super Bowl Champs ... Where Are They Now?

Updating the career of the 53 players on the Eagles' active roster when they defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII
In this story:

Saturday marked the five-year anniversary of the Philadelphia Eagles' first Super Bowl title, which they secured with their thrilling 41-33 victory against the New England Patriots at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Eight players from that 2017 teams remain with the Eagles and will be looking for a second Super Bowl ring on Feb. 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs in SB LVII at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

But what about the rest of those Eagles players who brought Philadelphia that first Super Bowl title?

Here is a breakdown of all 53 players on the active roster that fateful day in 2018 and where their careers took them:

2017 EAGLES PLAYERS STILL ON THE ROSTER

  • Center Jason Kelce
  • Right tackle Lane Johnson
  • Guard Isaac Seumalo
  • Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox
  • Defensive ends Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett
  • Kicker Jake Elliott
  • Long-snapper Rick Lovato

Barnett is on injured reserve, but the other seven will have key roles against the Chiefs.

Kelce, Johnson, and Seumalo made up three-fifths of arguably — actually, it might not even be debatable — the best starting offensive line in the NFL.
