Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce is still in the early stages of enjoying retirement, but it doesn't look like he'll be away from the game of football for long.

Per reports from The Athletic, Kelce is being pursued by ESPN, Amazon Prime, CBS, NBC (and potentially) more for a role as a on-air analyst. ESPN is reportedly set to undergo a "shake-up" to its "Monday Night Football" pregame crew, and Kelce appears to be a top priority.

Kelce has built a rock-solid reputation as a player and person during his time in and around the NFL. No controversies, no ego, and no drama. Combine with his charming and laid-back personality, and it's easy to see why he's being targeted for TV.

His emotional retirement speech earlier this month left football fans with a collective lump in their throat. Considering his vulnerability in that moment and after losing last year's Super Bowl, fans seem to have a soft spot for Kelce. The networks clearly recognize this, evident by how swiftly they appear to be moving in on the former All-Pro.

Kelce, of course, would have to sign on the dotted line, but a massive contract might make persuading him a bit easier. ESPN, Prime and the others all boast an abundance of former NFL stars, but whoever lands Kelce would be getting arguably the most-coveted ex-player outside of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, both of who have already landed with FOX and ESPN, respectively.
