Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Masters for the second time in his career, and Atlanta Falcons new quarterback Kirk Cousins was in attendance to witness it.

Indeed so, and he actually stole some of that spotlight away in Augusta, Georgia. During Saturday’s festivities, Cousins spoke with ESPN’s Marty Smith about his interest in the sport.

We all found out Cousins joined a golf course near his hometown in Michigan, and it's a hobby he and his whole family enjoy.

“We joined a house about an hour south of my hometown,” Cousins said via ESPN. "I'd play, walk the course. I'd say to my wife, this was the best thing I'll do all summer, but I can't rationalizer the hour drive there."

Cousins enjoys the old-school feel of Golf, especially at The Masters. A truly historic sporting event to watch in-person, too.

“What I want is to be able to walk the fairway with my boss for the rest of our lives and just spend time together,” Cousins said.

Cousins and his wife posted a beautiful picture of social media of them taking in The Masters.

Now, it’s time for Cousins to further prepare for offseason activities with a new team. With the Falcons, pressure is ramped up for immediate success because of Cousins’ arrival to the franchise.
