The Atlanta Falcons invested heavily into their receiver corps this offseason by signing Darnell Mooney and trading for Rondale Moore, and they may not be done.

Many projections have Atlanta taking a receiver at No. 8 overall in this month's draft, but even if they don't end up doing so, there's still plenty of talented players available later on. The Falcons have met with multiple mid-round receiver prospects, and there's now a new name to add to the list.

According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, UCF Knights receiver Javon Baker has a meeting scheduled with the Falcons, along with several other teams.

A transfer from Alabama, Baker became a breakout star following his arrival in Orlando in 2022. Last season was the best of his collegiate career, as he racked up 1,139 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. After leading the conference in receiving yards, Baker earned a first-team All-Big 12 selection for his efforts.

Baker may not seem that fast at first as he ran a 4.54-second 40-yard dash at the combine, but his tape shows that he can indeed turn on the jets. He also stands at 6-1, 202 pounds and is a solid route-runner as well.

Baker is a projected mid-round pick in the draft, and with the Falcons having two third-rounders (No. 74 and 79), they should have a good opportunity to snag him.
