Falcons Hope to Replicate 'Pretty Good' 2023 Draft Class

The Atlanta Falcons saw contributions from every member of their 2023 NFL Draft class.
In this story:

The Atlanta Falcons have seven selections going into the 2024 NFL Draft as they hope to continue building their talented roster.

If they have a similar draft to what they had last year, they should be in good shape. Bleacher Report had the Falcons at No. 14 in a ranking of the 2023 NFL Draft classes.

Bijan Robinson NFL Draft
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

"[Bijan] Robinson was the engine of the Falcons offense with 1,463 total yards and eight touchdowns. That's 500 more total yards than anyone else on the Falcons roster. The Falcons didn't do badly with their second-round pick, either. Matthew Bergeron wound up starting all 17 games at left guard," Bleacher Report writes. "Zach Harrison played 32 percent of the defensive snaps. It took a while for him to make an impact, but he scored three sacks came in his final three games of the season.  ... [Clark] Phillips and [Demarcco] Hellams both came on late in the season to be contributing members of the secondary. ... That's a pretty good hit rate for a six-man draft class."

The Falcons have covered a lot of ground in their recent draft classes, but one position still remains among their biggest needs at quarterback.

NFL Draft Rumors: Meet Falcons 'Apple of The Eye' Drake Maye?

If Atlanta can add their quarterback of the future in this year's class, they will have the foundation set for the next several years, where they hope to return to the playoffs and make some noise.
