Falcons' Bijan Robinson Sends Heartfelt Message to 'Role Model' Nick Chubb

The Browns running back was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury during Monday Night Football.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is fresh off a 172-yard performance in his team's 25-24 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but the budding star took time to send well wishes to an established great at the same position on Monday night.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb went down with a knee injury in the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night football, and while he was carted off the field, he received an outpouring of support on social media from fans and players alike, including Robinson.

Robinson posted on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) his message to Chubb who he referred to as a "role model" at the running back position.

"Nick Chubb. God is right there with you! Role model," Robinson said in his post, adding a "praying hands" emoji at the end of the message.

Prior to suffering the injury, Chubb had racked up 64 rushing yards on 10 carries on Monday night, appearing to be well on his way to his 31st career 100-yard rushing performance in the NFL. The back was fresh off being named Second Team All-Pro in 2022 as well as reaching his fourth Pro Bowl in as many NFL seasons.

Chubb and Robinson both toted the rock at strong college programs prior to their pro days. Robinson suited up for the Texas Longhorns and was selected by the Falcons with the eighth-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Chubb was chosen in the second round of the 2018 draft by these same Browns after spending his college days with the Georgia Bulldogs.
