LOOK: Atlanta Falcons Coach Arthur Smith Makes Change Amid Losing Streak

Atlanta Falcons coach Arthur Smith's latest change may have happened in hopes of changing the "mojo" surrounding the team following back-to-back losses.
In this story:

Coach Arthur Smith has come under fire as the Atlanta Falcons have lost two straight games, including Sunday's 31-28 to the Minnesota Vikings, which has dropped them to 4-5 on the season after a promising 3-0 start.

Smith and, in particular, his offense has garnered criticism as of late, with the loudest coming from Super Bowl-winning quarterback Kurt Warner, who provided analysis about the problems he saw with the Falcons' passing game following their loss to the Tennessee Titans in a video he released to Twitter.

Combine that video with the Falcons' dip in performance offensively and a potentially harsh response from Smith about Warner's comments, and the general consensus seems to be that something needs to change for Atlanta to improve.

So, with that potentially in mind, Smith made a change. Although it wasn't football-related, it will be noticeable, as he decided to shave his mustache following the loss on Sunday.

"I kind of regret it already," Smith said on Monday about his decision to shave off his mustache at 3:45 in the morning.

It is unknown if the decision to shave was out of frustration with the loss or potentially a part of some superstition to help bring some good "mojo" back to the Falcons after struggling in recent weeks.

However, the Falcons could use some new "mojo," as they have won just one of their last four games, all of which have been decided by one score.

The Falcons will look to break their losing streak with a win on Sunday when they travel to State Farm Stadium to face the 1-8 Arizona Cardinals. Kickoff inside State Farm Stadium is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
